Otto Ludwig "Buster" Zimmerman, 89, of Waco, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., May 13, in Waco Memorial Park with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Otto was born in Cuero, Texas and graduated from Yoakum High School in 1935. On Dec. 24, 1940, he married Ruth Lance in Hillsboro, Texas. Otto graduated from Curtis Wright Technical School in Pasadena, California. He served in the 20th Air Force in World War II and was a flight engineer on B-29 bombers. Otto worked over 30 years in aviation and aerospace, retiring from Rocketdyne Aviation.
He was preceded in death by his wife in October, 2000.
