Willie Mae Brunson Harrison 92 of Big Spring died on Mon Oct 31, 2011 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thurs Nov 3, 2011 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Joey Bacon officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Wed Nov 2, 2011 at the funeral home.
Willie Mae was born on Oct 9, 1919 in Waxahachie, TX.
She married Jimmie Brunson on Dec 8, 1941 in Big Spring and he preceded her in death on Jan 31, 1990. She then married Alvie Harrison on Jan 16, 1993 in Big Spring and he preceded her in death on Jun 19, 2007.
Willie Mae had worked for several dress shops in Big Spring and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister Bobbie Holden of Big Spring; her brother Willis Burchett of Big Spring; four grandchildren and 12 g-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughters: Nancy Ann Brunson and Sue Lamb; her parents James and Zelda (Hale) Burchett and four brothers: Olice Burchett; Robert Burchett; Ed Burchett; and J.C. Burchett.

Loses Battle
Against Cancer
Nancy Ann Brunson, 16, of 808 W. 7th, died at 1:35 a.m. today in a local hospital. She had been ill and put up a brave fight against cancer for about two years. She was a student of Big Spring public schools.
She was born Oct. 20, 1948 in Big Spring.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Robinson, pastor of Berea Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park.
Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Brunson; a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Sue Lamb; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Brunson; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Viola Burchett, all of Big Spring; two nieces, one nephew and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Omar L. Jones, Elvis Caudill, Luther Coleman, John Pitts, Ulysses Hall, and Bill Harkrider.
