Pat Young, 69, of Midland, former longtime resident of Big Spring, died on Thursday, April 3, 2003, in Odessa. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Pat Ray, pastor of Prairie View Baptist Church, officiating.
She was born on July 23, 1933 in Henderson, Texas and married Floyd Young on November 20, 1948 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1990.
Mrs. Young grew up in Colorado City; she moved to Big Spring and then to Midland. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Steven Mark Young of San Angelo; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Young of Midland; one sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Charlie Morgan of Nederland; two brothers and sisters-in-law, A. D. and Ruth Nanny of Big Spring and Lloyd and Donna Nanny of Fort Worth; four grandchildren, Shawn Harris, Taylor Gomez, Gary Harris and Alexya Negrete; one great granddaughter, Laura Taylor Gomez and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Buchanan.
