June 5, 1933 - December 24, 1999
She was born June 5, 1933, in Slaton. She moved to Lubbock in the 1940s. She graduated from Levelland High School and the University of North Texas. She married Holton Youngblood on August 2, 1953, in Levelland. He died on Nov. 7, 1990. She taught school for the Lubbock Independent School District and the Frenship Independent School District before her retirement. She was a member of Agape United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Craig Youngblood of Lubbock; a daughter, Tammie "Rene" Youngblood of Lubbock; and a granddaughter.
