Dr. Marshall Quentin Cauley, 77, of Big Spring died Friday, Nov. 22, 1996, in a Lubbock hospital. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.

He was born July 25, 1919, in Comanche and had been a resident of Big Spring since 1949.

An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he co-owned and operated his own optometry practice.

He was a member of the Downtown Lions Club, the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Cauley of Big Spring; two sons, Dr. Richard Cauley of Big Spring and Dr. Lynn Cauley of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, H. M. "Buzz" Cauley of Comanche; two sisters, Catherine Everidge and Tillie Franks, both of Comanche; and two grandsons.
