*Obituary Charlie L. Clark
Charlie Levy Clark, 81, of Big Spring passed quietly with dignity and courage in the presence of his children after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Charlie's love for his family and belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace when he went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 29, 2015.

Charlie was born to the late Cyrus C. Clark and Susie Adkins Clark in Kaufman, Texas on January 4, 1934, as the youngest of seven children.

Born during the great depression, Charlie was no stranger to hard work. He was extremely strong and often arm wrestled making him well-known throughout the area. As a youngster, Charlie found his passion for horses. Through his young adult life he honed his skills at training and riding his own horses in match races.

Charlie married the love of his life, Glenda Ray Moore, on March 10, 1953, in Lamesa. Over the years, they were blessed with four children.

He then proceeded to share his passion for horses with his family and friends throughout his lifetime.

By trade as a devoted milkman in the Big Spring area for over 42 years, Charlie never knew a stranger and was friends with everyone.

Charlie is dearly missed and survived by three daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Toby Green of Big Spring, Gale and Donald Pickett of Amarillo, Toni and Jerry Don Bales of Sand Springs. One son and his wife, Shane and Kym Clark of Big Spring, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Glenda, of 51 years, his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at the Trinity Memorial Park with Brian Moore officiating.
