Shirley Ann Darley left this world on Saturday, May 29th, 2021. She passed away at the age of 81 years.

She was born Shirley Ann Bullock on April 28th, 1940 in Lubbock, Texas to parents, J. T. and Mildred Bullock.

Shirley spent her youth growing up in Lovington, New Mexico. Later the family moved to Odessa, Texas where she graduated from Odessa High School.

Over the years, Shirley's career included working as a bank teller, office accountant and hospital administrator.

She resided for many years in Odessa, Colorado City, and Big Spring, Texas.

Shirley was fun loving. She had a wonderful sense of humor, her giggling was contagious. She loved laughter, gossip, handsome cowboys, good old country music, and Elvis! A natural musician, after only two lessons Shirley could play piano like a pro! Shirley was short in stature, but she had the most big beautiful blue eyes and a large loving heart. She loved dogs, often having a bulldog as a close companion throughout her life.

Shirley was married to Max Spriggs who was the father of her three children.

Later in 1977 she married C. A. Darley and in the 1980's Shirley moved with her husband to New Braunfels, Texas. They resided together in New Braunfels until his passing in 1995. She lived her remaining years with her daughter in McQueeney, Texas.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her children meant the world to her and she loved them with all her heart.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Robert J. Bullock, a nephew, Jay Bullock, and sister-in-law Helen Rose Bullock.

Shirley is survived by her brother Jerry Don Bullock of Houston, Texas. Three children, Debbie and David Scott of White Settlement, Texas, Sandy and Gregg Schorn of McQueeney, Texas, and Jimmy and LeAnn Spriggs of Bulverde, Texas. Grandchildren include Ann Marie Holder, David Alan Scott, Melissa Newby, Kelley Light, Leonard Weir, and Ryan Spriggs all of whom reside in Texas. She is survived by 9 great-grandchildren. Shirley was a special aunt to her nephew and nieces.

This family will always love and miss her dearly.

She will be interred at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date in New Braunfels, Texas.
