*Obituary Pennie Christine Cain Dean
Pennie Dean, 72, of Arlington, formerly of Big Spring died Sunday, July 18, 2021, in Arlington. Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Monday at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Pennie was born July 16, 1949, in New Harmony, Indiana to Dorothy and Harold Cain.

She married Jerry Dean on September 15, 1967 in Griffin, Indiana.

They moved to Big Spring in 1979. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2011.

She then moved to Arlington in 2021.

She was a member of Odessa Torah Congregation.

Pennie was a homemaker but also worked at Texas Electric and then Big Spring State Hospital.

She loved to make scrapbooks and sewing.

She also loved making cards for everyone for all occasions.

Pennie is survived by two daughters: Annisa Gustin and her husband Eric of Shepherd, and Genifer Corley of Arlington' one brother: David Cain and his wife Jill of Enfield, Illinois; one sister: Mary Reeves of Mount Vernon, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
