Jimmie Hogg, 81, of Andrews passed away Thursday, July, 14, 2011 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews, Texas with his family at his side.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2011 at Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Covington will officiate.
Mr. Hogg was born June 22, 1930 in Pecos, Texas. He married Virginia Williams, November 25, 1952 in Big Spring, Texas. They were long time Andrews residents. He worked as a Pumper in the West Texas oil fields.
Mr. Hogg grew up on a ranch and loved the ranch life. He especially loved good home cooking and coffee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 2008.
He is survived by his son, David Hogg of Andrews, TX; his sister, Lou Rogers and his aunt, Jean Maxwell of Fort Worth, Texas.

Virginia Rose Hogg, 80, of Andrews passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Andrews Old Cemetery in Andrews. Rev. Kevin Covington, Pastor of Second Baptist Church will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Virginia was born March 11, 1928 in Andrews. She married Jimmie Hogg November 25, 1952 in Big Spring, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Andrews. She was a homemaker. Virginia loved to work in her yard and garden. She was also a great cook.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Hogg of Andrews; Son - David Hogg of Andrews; Two brothers - Jackie Leon Wilson of Andrews and Max Williams of San Antonio; Three sisters - Mona Beth Wilson and Shirley Ann Clutter both of Midland, and Billie Sue Rogers of Boise, Idaho.
