Services for Elsie M. Jackson, 92, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at the Andrews County Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson was born May 31, 1907, in Montague County, Texas, to Eugene D. and Margaret Williams Ewing. She died Oct. 17, 1999, in the local hospital.
She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Andrews First Baptist Church where she also worked in the nursery. She and Claude B. Jackson were married July 21, 1928, at Terrell. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy, Ardmore, and James, Andrews, Texas; a sister, Inez Allen, Simi Valley, Calif.; and two brothers, Woodrow Ewing, Chino, Calif., and J.R. Ewing, Nocona, Texas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
