Harry Tracy Mullis, 77, of Aspermont, TX, was killed in an automobile accident, along with his side kick, his little dog he took everywhere with him, near Midland about 4:45pm Friday. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 pm in the Aspermont Church of Christ with Minister Travis Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery. Nephews will be pallbearers. Born Oct. 22, 1889, in Pine Bluff, Ark., Mr. Mullis moved to Haskell when a child. He then moved from Haskell to Stonewall County in 1905. He married Mary Ella Etta Rebecca Norris in 1909, and she died July 8, 1960 in Parker County, TX. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Wilson Mullis of Ft. Worth, TX., and Willie Nichols Mullis of Midland, Tx.: a daughter, Mrs. Estelle Martin of Garner, TX., four brothers, John of Rochester, Joe and Roger of Aspermont, and Cull of Stamford; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
