January 29, 1936 - January 26, 2011
Harold Dwain Gordon,74, of Matador passed from this life on January 26, 2011. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Matador with Matt Crawford officiating. Interment will be at the East Mound Cemetery under the direction of Shannon Funeral Home of Matador.
Harold was born January 29, 1936 to Oscar Gordon and Lorene Chambliss in Brownfield, Tx. He married Genavee Harmon on August 2, 1956 in Lovington, N.M. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation doing highway maintenance for 20 years in Post, Tx.
Mr. Gordon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Matador, a member of the Jaycees Club of Post, and he also enjoyed helping with the little league baseball.
Harold is survived by his loving wife: Genavee (Vee) Gordon
