ANDREWS, Texas -- Services for Gladys Dyess Towles, 93, will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. H.A. Hanks and the Rev. Phillip Golden officiating. Interment will follow at Andrews Old Cemetery.
Born Dec. 26, 1904, at Mineola, Texas, she died Oct. 22, 1998, at a Hobbs, N.M., hospital. She married William N. Towles on Nov. 18, 1925, at Ringling. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1986.
Mrs. Towles moved to Andrews from Fox in 1961. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Winell Smith, Hobbs, and Sharon Jackson, Woodward; one son, Billy G. Towles, Tucson; one brother, Sam H. Dyess, Andrews; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
