MATADOR — Rita Kim Butler, 58, of Matador died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church in Matador with Brother Bill Manney officiating. Burial will follow in East Mound Cemetery in Matador. Arrangements are by Zapata Funeral Home of Matador.

Kim was born April 18, 1956, in Seymour to Roy Lee Elliott and Joy Chandler.

She graduated from Dalhart High School in 1974. She worked for Texas Department of Transportation in Childress as a safety inspector for 38 years.

Survivors include her children, Shawn Elliott and wife Shonda of Matador, William Butler of Paducah and Dayne Butler of Alpine; her parents, Roy Lee Elliott and wife Mary Lee Elliott and Joy Kirscht and husband Leo Kirscht; a sister, Lori Walterscheid and husband Doug of Amarillo; a brother, Mark Elliott and wife Sheilla of Fritch; four
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
