Elburn Wharton
Services for Elburn Rankin Whatron (Wharton), 66, were held Saturday morning.
He was buried in Andrews Cemetery under the direction of Singleton Funeral Home.
Wharton was found inside his home at 310 S.E. Avenue A., Jan 21.

He had apparently been dead several days, a spokesman for Singleton Funeral Home said. The death was ruled natural.

He was retired roughneck, a Methodist and a member of VFW Post 4372 of Odessa. Wharton had no local survivors, but had two children from Corpus Christi and a sister from San Antonio.
