Buford R. Andrews, 69, of Andrews died Friday, March 12, 1999, in Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 21, 1929, in Willis, Okla. He married Jackie Howe on Jan. 28, 1951, in Chickasha, Okla. They moved to Andrews in 1960.
He was a postman in Andrews for 22 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Weldon of Midland, Johney of Denver City and Roger of Andrews; three sisters, Lorine Johnson and Rozena Looney, both of Willis, Okla., and Dorothy Muchmore of Chickasha, Okla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
