MATADOR - Dood L. Damron, 89, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church. Burial will be in East Mound Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home.
Mr. Damron was a cowboy in his early years. He later operated a custom boot shop in Matador for 62 years.
Survivors include his wife, Maye; two daughters, Christina Damron of San Antonio and Marianne Damron of Wolforth; a stepdaughter, Clara Sudduth of Muleshoe; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
