*Obituary
Funeral arrangements for James P. Hart, victim of an accident at the West Eighth Avenue overpass project about noon yesterday, are pending at N. S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Home.

Mr. Hart, 55 years old, 501 Travis, was killed, when he was caught between a truck and a backing grading machine, witnesses reported. His head and shoulders were crushed. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Northwest Texas Hospital, where he was taken in an N. S. Griggs & Sons ambulance.

An employe of the Turkey Creek Sand & Gravel Company of Pampa, Mr. Hart's duty was to direct dump truck drivers where to unload dirt being hauled for the project.

He had just checked a load of dirt being used in the construction of high grades, forming the approach at the overpass. He was at the rear of the dump truck, helping the driver replace the truck's tail gate when the heavy grader backed into the vehicle. The truck driver was uninjured.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lollie Hart; four sons, James P. Hart, Jr., Aaron, Robert E., and Michael Lee; a daughter, Yvonne; a brother, Arron Hart; and a sister, Mrs. L. L. Mahagan, Amarillo.
