Funeral services for Edward K. "Ed" Cook, 74, of Andrews will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Larry Brewer, Pastor of City Of Refuge Church in Andrews, officiating. Military graveside services will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.

He passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

He was born on December 2, 1931 in Vernon, Texas to Herman Stiles Cook and Clara Mae Sellers Cook. He graduated from Vernon High School in 1949 and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Dorothy Mae Glenn on July 18, 1956 in Monument, New Mexico. They lived in Monument and moved to Odessa and then to Andrews in 1966. He had worked for Tidewater Oil Company in Andrews, and then owned and operated Ed's Auto Service in Andrews for over 20 years. He was a past member of the Andrews Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as an Ambassador. He was a past member of the Andrews Downtown Lions Club and Andrews Zoning Board. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter: Virginia Lee Cook; and 2 brothers.

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Cook of Andrews; 1 son: Mike Cook of Andrews; 2 daughters: Michelle Martin of Odessa and Marcy Rhoades of Andrews; 2 brothers: Charles Cook of Vernon and Richard Cook of Pasadena; 1 sister: Norma Lockwood of Tracy, California; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Dorothy Mae Cook, 82, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Brewer and Minister Leslie L. Boone officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 4 " 6 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Dorothy was born October 9, 1935 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Howard and Lora Belle Hoskins Glenn. Dorothy graduated from Hobbs High School. She married Edward K. Cook on July 18, 1956 in Monument, NM. They moved to Andrews in 1966. Dorothy attended Odessa College and UTPB from 1976 to 1979. She retired after 20 years of accounting work from Clayton Williams Energy in Midland in 2000. Dorothy began working part-time in 2009 with McNett Funeral Home. She worked as a librarian with AISD and she also worked doing medical transcripts.

Dorothy volunteered as bookkeeper for PRMC Auxiliary Gift Shop. She loved to work with computers making videos and enjoyed discovering new things to do on a computer.

Dorothy enjoyed going shopping with the girls and sewing clothing for her kids. She loved to be with her sister, grandkids and all her family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, and great granddaughter Brooklynn Guelker.

She is survived by one son, Mike, and wife Deloris Cook, of Andrews, two daughters, Michelle Martin and fiance Johnny Washington of San Antonio, TX, Marcy, and husband Doug Rhoades of Andrews; grandchildren, Natasha and husband Roger Wedige, Nathaniel and wife Chantal Cook, Brandy, and husband Dennis Humber, J.J. and wife Kailey Martin and Misty and husband Billy Guelker, Kevin, and wife Marcy Leigh Rhoades and 22 great grandchildren.
