Billie Darcy, 83, of Andrews past away early Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Mo's Country Living in Andrews, Texas.
The family would like to welcome all friends and everyone who knew her to a Graveside Service, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 3PM in Andrews West Cemetery. Rev. Joe Alaniz will be officiate.
Billie was born March 18, 1928 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Ode and Sally Dover. She married Marshall Darcy in 1946. He preceded her in death in 2006.
Billie was a longtime resident of Andrews, and she was known as "The Avon Lady" as she sold Avon for over 30 years. During her sales career she had a tremendous amount of success; she won many trips and awards as the leading salesperson for Avon.
She loved to spoil her grandchildren and she enjoyed having her way.
She is survived by her daughter, Susie Stroud of Andrews and her son, George Darcy of Andrews; brother, Buster Dover of Three Rivers, Texas and sister, Faye Vaught of Lubbock, four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
