Funeral Services for Phyllis Marshall, 84, of Matador will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Matador with Cody Clower and Matt Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in the East Mound Cemetery at Matador under the direction of Shannon Family Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born on January 18, 1925 in North Platte, Nebraska to Harry Edward Lee and Rosa Lucinda Greeley Lee. Phyllis was married to Thomas Alton 'Susie' Marshall on May 14, 1945 in McCook, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2001. Mrs. Marshall worked in her earlier years for the Railroad in Nebraska. She also worked for the Round House and Canteen during the war. She has been a homemaker for many years. Phyllis has been a resident of Matador since 1945 and a member of the First Baptist Church where she kept the Nursery for many years.

3 daughters: Teresa Martin and husband Don of Pampa, Texas, Cindy Johannes of Matador, Texas, Eva Marshall of Lubbock, Texas.
1 Brother: Ben Lee
3 Sisters: Dorothy Miller, Eva Everett, Ruth Carlson, Daisy Musser
13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren
