Graveside services for June Tilson, 83, of Matador, were held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, September 9, at the East Mound Cemetery in Matador with Michael Crowley, Sr. officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. Tilson passed away in Amarillo, September 7, 2006.
June had worked for the Telephone Company in Washington, D. C., and also at the Pentagon. In Motley County she had worked at the Farm Bureau office with 30 years of service. Mrs. Tilson was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Tilson of Matador and Lamar Tilson of Boyd; one daughter, Deborah Tilson of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Heather Martin and Tommy Tilson; and one great-grandson, Mason Martin.
