Services for Jack W. Hodges 84 of Andrews will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Tommy Thatcher. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Jack passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Permian Regional Care Center. He was born on January 26, 1924 at Oswalt, Oklahoma. He married Estsella Gray on May 30, 1942 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Jack was a mechanic for Mobile Oil Company for many years before retirement and was a member of the Golf Course Road Church of Christ in Midland, Texas. Jack served in the Army durring WWII.

Suvivors include, wife; Estella Hodges, Andrews, son; Steve Hodges, McKinney, Texas, daughters; Jackie Thatcher, and Joneita Syler both of Andrews, brothers; Pete Hodges, Marietta, Oklahoma, Joel Hodges, Wilson, Oklahoma, sister; Jo Anna Walker, Wilson, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Estella Hodges, 86, of Andrews passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at Odessa Regional Hospital in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 16, 2013 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Estella's son-in-law, Tommy Thatcher will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hodges was born February 26, 1926 in Simon, Oklahoma to Edgar and Odessa Eunice Gray. She married Jack Walton Hodges May 30, 1942 in Marietta, Oklahoma.

She had several different careers over the years. She owned the Southern Maid Donut Shop in Andrews, she worked at Kirby West and also the Andrews Nursing home.

She loved to paint and do pottery. She loved to go camping and fishing. She and her husband, Jack loved to go dancing and was very active in the Andrews Senior Center. She loved her husband and they were married for over 66 years. She loved her kid's, grandkids and great-grandkids, and she loved her dog too.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Odessa Gray; son Roy Don Hodges; brother, E.L Gray and three great grandsons.

She is survived by her children, Joneita Syler of Andrews; Steve Hodges of Frisco, Texas; Jackie Thatcher of Andrews; brothers, Jack Gray of Rockland, California; Gary Gray of Sacramento, CA; sisters, Jurhee Shaw of Grass Valley, CA; Juanita Rhindhart of Houston, Connie Lynch of Marietta, Oklahoma; Ina Lynch Earle of Rockport, Texas.
