*Obituary Patsy Duncan Culp Hoermann
Patsy Hoermann, 82, wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord on July 4, 2018.

Patsy was born on September 16, 1935 in Plainview, Texas to Delmar and Marie Duncan.

She was raised in Plainview, graduated from Plainview High School in 1954 and attended Lippert Business College in Lubbock.

She married Joe Ray Culp in 1956 and they moved to Andrews, Texas in 1958 to begin their life together and raise their four boys.

Patsy lived in Andrews for over 60 years.

In her early years, Patsy's full-time job was raising her four young boys.
She later worked in public relations for First National Bank of Andrews and Permian General Hospital and served as a substitute teacher in the Andrews school system.
Patsy developed many wonderful friendships throughout her many years in Andrews.
She loved all people and never met a stranger.

Patsy lost her first husband to a sudden illness in 1966 and married F. Wm. 'Bubba' Hoermann in 1968. They were married for 40 years until his passing in 2008.

They shared many wonderful memories together raising four boys, attending Texas Tech football games, playing golf and traveling.

Patsy loved attending her grandchildren's athletic events and was their number one fan. She loved college and pro sports, playing and watching golf and playing bridge or any card game. She loved to sing and was a wonderful vocalist.

Patsy was the first woman to serve on the Andrews City Council (1993-1997) and was a former volunteer with the Permian General Hospital Auxiliary.
She was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church and later attended Means Memorial United Methodist Church. Patsy was a wonderful and strong Christian who lived with love, compassion and courage for her family.

Our wonderful and very special memories of Mom are her joy, her contagious laughter, her sweet kisses and her genuine hugs.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Joe Ray and Bubba; son, Dyke Culp; sister, Darla Comer; brother-in-law, Perry Culp; and, granddaughter, Kaitlin Jo Culp.

The family would like to express their appreciation for Mom's caregivers; Tracy, Alice, Jovie, Anita, Angie and Home Hospice. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me will live, even if he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
