Funeral services for David Arredondo, age 51 of Odessa, Texas, will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Templo Nazareth in Seminole, Texas with Pastor Tony Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
David Arredondo was born October 15, 1971 in Lamesa, Texas to Teresa (Castro) and Juan Arredondo. He was a Christian and worked as a handyman. David was an outgoing person who loved music and fast cars. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his nephews. His home was full of pictures of the family; they meant the world to him. David loved his truck, which he named "Bandit." He was a hard worker and could fix or repair anything. David also loved going to dances.
David Arredondo passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 in Odessa, Texas. He is preceded in death by one nephew, Taylon Ray Lujan; one uncle, Francisco Arredondo; and his paternal grandmother, Mandy Washington. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Arredondo and wife Brittney of Odessa, Texas and David Arredondo, Jr. of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Marisol Arredondo and Jasmine Arredondo, both of Seminole, Texas; his parents, Juan and Teresa Arredondo of Seminole, Texas; five brothers, Juan Arredondo, Jr. and wife Diane, Robert Arredondo and wife Raquel, and Reymundo Arredondo, all of Odessa, Texas, Jose Arredondo of Seminole, Texas, and Tony Arredondo and wife Lori of Big Spring, Texas; seven sisters, Diana Torres and husband Edgar, Maria Garza and husband Tony, and Margarita Lujan and husband Carlos, all of Seminole, Texas, Juanita Williams and husband Jeff and Elisa Rubalcava and husband Frank, both of Odessa, Texas, Mary Rodriguez and husband David of Denver City, Texas and Yolanda Arredondo and husband Damon of Houston, Texas.
