*Obituary Edna Pina Mitchell
Edna “Nana” Mitchell, 89, longtime resident of Andrews passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020 in Odessa.

A Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Edna was born on August 3, 1931 in Alpine, Texas to Silverio and Consuela Alvarado Pina. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Edna always had an amazing outlook on life which was inspiring to those around her. She loved animals, especially dogs, (Paco, being her favorite), doing jigsaw puzzles and had a great sense of humor. Her family is grateful for Betty Gray and Brenda Abalos who cared for Edna for many years. The family wants to thank the staff at Buena Vida Nursing Home in Odessa for caring for her as well. She had many friends there, with special thanks to Olga and Barbara. She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Edward, sister, Corinna Gutierrez, brothers, Israel Pina and Carlos Pina.

Edna is survived by sister, Tomasa Abalos of El Paso, Texas, brother, David Pina of Kansas City, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
