ANDREWS Donald Ray "Don" Nelson, 63, of Andrews, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at his residence in Andrews.
Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. Kevin Covington officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West Cemetery in Andrews. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
He was born in Coos Bay, Ore. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Andrews and was a drilling superintendent for Neighbors Drilling Company.
SURVIVORS Wife, Patsy Nelson of Andrews; daughter, Donna Nelson of Dallas; sisters, Sharon Fulwider, Karen Derrington and Jean Jannamon; and two grandchildren
