HEREFORD - Jesse Glenn "Skinny" Watts, 84, formerly of Hereford, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. John H. Elser, staff chaplain of Thomas E. Creek Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System, officiating. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Watts was born Sept. 24, 1924, in Lamesa to Lawrence Verdon and Fannie Cozette Killough Watts. Glenn was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Glenn Watts and Robert David Watts, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Melinda Sue Norman of Amarillo; two brothers, L.V. Watts of Muleshoe and Ferndon Watts of Amarillo; a sister, Dorothy Ward of Hereford; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
