HEREFORD - E.J. "Jack" Kirksey, 92, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Rest Lawn Cemetery. Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Kyle Streun officiating. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Kirksey was a longtime resident of Hereford, moving from Portales, N.M. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Lions Club and Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include a special friend and caretaker, Dorothy Grasmick of Hereford; a daughter, Wanda Marie of Hawaii; two brothers, Ed Kirksey of Clovis, N.M., and N.R. "Noble" Kirksey of Surprise, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
