ANDREWS -- Services for Dock Rogers, 72, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers died Saturday at his residence in Odessa after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 10, 1918 in Comanche County. He married Annie C. Floyd April 9, 1945, in Snyder.
Mr. Rogers formerly lived in Andrews, Crane and Snyder. He was a retired lease operator and a National Guard veteran who served in World War II. He was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of Odessa; a son, Dock F. Rogers Jr. of Crane; two daughters, Nancy Martin of Rankin and Sandra Smith of Odessa; two brothers, Jeff Rogers of Snyder and Newt Rogers of Andrews; two sisters, Tommie McGinty and Mary Pearson, both of Snyder; and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Odessa.
McNett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
