Seagraves – Funeral services for Jeffery Dan Slack, 62, of Midlothian, were 10:30 A.M Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 12th Street Church of Christ with Skip Rodger officiating. Eulogy was given by Roger Jones. Burial was in the Gaines County Cemetery, Loop, Texas under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seagraves, Texas. He died Friday, August 16, 2019 at his residence in Midlothian, Texas.
He was born August 28, 1956 in Brownfield, Texas to Doyle Lee Slack and Frances Lanelle Bullington Slack. He married Tenna Jones March 5, 1976 in Seagraves, Texas. He was self- employed in the transportation business. He attended school in Loop and Seagraves. He moved from Odessa to Midlothian in 1983 and was a member of the 12th Street Church of Christ of Seagraves and Midlothian Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by father Doyle Slack. Survivors include his wife Tenna of the home; sons, Jeremy Dan Slack and Scott Daniel Slack, William Eric Slack and Dustin Tracy Slack and wife Laura, Mother, Frances Slack all of Midlothian and one brother Tim Slack and wife Philles of Midland. Two granddaughters Alaina and Nicole Slack both of Midlothian. Visitation was from 6-7 pm, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
