Funeral services for Arlie Oliver, age 67 of Aledo, Texas will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Billy Jack Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. The family will host a public viewing at Boyer Funeral Home Friday, June 2, 2023 from 7 to 8 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole, Texas.
Mr. Oliver was born January 3, 1956 in Seminole, Texas to Ruby (Sims) and John Oliver. He married Connie Walker in Seminole on April 9, 1975. He worked as a contractor. Arlie enjoyed drag racing, going to swap meets, traveling, and watching old western movies. He loved his family dearly; and his wife, was the light of his life.
Arlie Oliver passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home in Aledo, Texas. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, three sisters, and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Connie Oliver of Aledo, Texas; one son, John Oliver of Weatherford, Texas; two daughters, Bobbie Lerma of Carrollton, Texas, and Jody Vick and husband James of Aledo, Texas; one brother, Aubrey Oliver and wife Nana of Seminole, Texas; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
