Funeral services for Enrique Wieler, age 60 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Gospel Mission Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Johnny Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Wieler was born March 10, 1963 to Heinrich Wieler and Elisabeth (Krahn) Wieler in Mexico. Enrique married Susana Schmitt on August 1, 1999 in Seminole. He worked in construction and was member of Gospel Mission Church. Mr. Wieler was a hard worker and had a strong faith in God. He moved to many places, including California, Kansas and Texas. Often Enrique would drive open air tractors for Ben Bergen from Seminole to Corpus Christi. He enjoyed vacationing on the beach.
Enrique passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susana in 2015; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by one son, Tim Wieler of Seminole; one brother, Jacob Wieler and wife Susana of Paris, Texas; three sisters, Elisabeth Redecop and husband Ben of Canada, and Margarita Friesen and husband Johan and Susana Martens, both of Seminole, Texas.
