Funeral Mass for Ibis Carnero, age 41 of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose de Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Carnero was born July 26, 1982 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Luz Torres and Silverio Carnero. He worked as a crane operator.
Ibis loved fishing, roosters, gardening, drawing, and astronomy. He was also a Steelers fan; he had a contagious laugh and smile. His children were his world. Ibis Carnero is preceded in death by his father, Silverio.
He is survived by two sons, Alexander Carnero of Amarillo, Texas and Dillon Munoz of Mexico; two daughters, Jazmin Carnero of Amarillo,Texas and Daniela Carnero of Mexico; his mother, Luz Carnero of Seminole, Texas; two brothers, Osbaldo Carnero of Seminole, Texas and Hugo Carnero and wife Elva of Amarillo, Texas; and two sisters, Olga Fraire and husband Jose of Denver, Colorado and Geraldyn Rodriguez and husband Adan of Denver City, Texas.
