Funeral services for Danny Thomas McIlwain, 67 were held Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Wesleyan Grace Church at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Charlie Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
Danny Thomas McIlwain, of Seminole, passed away July 28, 2023 in Seminole.
He was born October 19, 1955 in Anson to Melvin McIlwain and Emma Lou Riley. Danny graduated from Seminole High School in 1974. He was a member of the Wesleyan Grace Church, and was a farmer in Gaines County.
He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Emma Lou McIlwain.
Danny is survived by his wife Sherry McIlwain of Seminole; his two daughters Megan Thompson and husband Coby of Ropesville, Danlee Rich and husband Colden of Abilene; his two sisters Gena Rogers of Lubbock and Lesa Hancock and husband Tim of Lubbock and five grandchildren Parker (Mac) McIlwain and wife Cierra, Cambell Latta, Cutter Thompson, Ella Rich and Madelyn Rich who he loved dearly.
