Jeffery Dale Keith was born July 11, 1944 in Ralls and was residing in The Woodlands following his retirement. Jeff spent his time in Ralls with his grandparents, Nolan and Mary Keith. He graduated from Ralls High School in 1962. Jeff attended Texas Tech University where he met Elenia King at Horn Dormitory. They were married on December 15, 1963. Jeff and Elenia lived in Seminole for many years where he farmed and raised two daughters, Jana and Aimee. He was often found at the coffee shop in his pickup with his Saint Bernard dog, Bronson. Jeff was always involved in some type of sport or activity. While living in Seminole, he played tennis every Sunday with his tennis buddies, rain or shine. He also enjoyed playing golf and racquetball, scuba diving, and motorcycle enduros. Jeff eventually left farming and moved into the computer and technology business. After leaving Seminole, Jeff and Elenia lived in Odessa; Lexington, Kentucky; and finally settled in The Woodlands.
Jeff was always adventurous and loved to travel to places far and wide. His children remember the annual vacation trips fishing, hiking, and camping in Colorado. He later travelled to Europe visiting Germany and many neighboring countries while visiting his children. Some of his favorite places were Creede, Colorado; Lucerne, Switzerland; Prague, Czech Republic; and Guaymas, Mexico. After retirement, Jeff enjoyed gardening and playing chess with online competitors across the world. Jeff's biggest thrill was following the Dallas Cowboys and everything Texas Tech.
Jeff has three grandchildren enrolled in Texas Tech. Kallie Brooks graduated from Texas Tech and is studying for her Master's Degree at Tech, and both Payton Brooks and Ryan Ferrini are studying for their Bachelor's Degree, Brooke Ferrini is attending The Woodlands High School. Jana and Andrae Brooks live in Northern Virginia where Andrae retired from the U.S. Army. They are both employed in Washington, DC. Aimee and Jason Phillips live in Commerce where Jason is in charge of building a dam that will create the third largest lake in Texas.
Jeff and Elenia have a network of family and friends in Seminole and across the United States. Jeff is preceded in death by both his mother and father and most recently his brother, Keith Bullion.
