Funeral services for Martin Guerrero, age 66 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the church of Templo Elim located at 610 South Avenue F in Lamesa with Pastor Raul Martinez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
An Inspirational service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Martin died on Sunday, February 22, 2015 in the area of Big Spring, Texas of Howard County.He was born on May 26, 1949 in Lamesa. Martin married Silbia Moreno in 1999 in Lamesa. Martin loved fishing, the outdoors spending time with his grandkids. He was always positive and happy and was a hard worker and was always helping everyone.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Timotea Guerrero; his sister, Delia Lopez.
Martin is survived by his family, his wife, Silbia Guerrero; his sons and daughters-in-laws, Julio Guerrero and wife, Kaphendra Ybanez, Mary Guerrero and wife, Natalie Guerrero, all of Lamesa; his daughter, Brenda Guerrero of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Alyssa Guerrero, Aliyah Guerrero, Amiyah Guerrro, Julian Guerrero, Josiah Guerrero, Jonathan Guerrero, Catalina Caban, Skylar Guajardo, Steven Guajardo, all of Lamesa; his brothers, Julio Guerrero of Midland, Texas, Andres Guerrero of La Port, Texas; his sisters, Emma Barrientes and Josie Espinosa, both of Lamesa, Ruth Salazar of La Port, Texas; nine grandchildren.
