Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Chapel No. 1 at Barksdale Air Force Base for Lt. Col. James A. Hahn, 37, of Haughton, who died Sunday following a sudden illness.
Colonel Hahn, a native of Big Springs, Tex., was an aircraft commander with the 71st Air Refueling Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base.
He was a veteran of 18 years in the Air Force and had served in Southeast Asia. His decorations included the Air Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Nalley-Pickle Funeral Home at Big Springs. Burial will be in Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery. First National Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include his widow; one son; two daughters; his father, Clarence E. Hahn of Carlsbad, N.M.; and two brothers, William B. Hahn of Carlsbad and Richard B. Hahn of Honolulu, Hawaii.
