Roy William Howell, 78, of Lenorah, Texas, died June 26, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Nalley- Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Roy William Howell (Buddy) was born on August 9, 1940 in Lamesa Texas.

He enjoyed raising animals especially horses, chickens and Peafowls. He was particularly fond of the white peafowl he raised and had for years.

He possessed a passion for studying and learning about medicine and history. He enjoyed anything Sci-Fi.

Survivors include Angela Cheri (Howell) McLaughlin (daughter), (Ray McLaughlin) Kailey Victoria McLaughlin (granddaughter), Carl Lee Howell (brother) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by William Dewey Howell (dad), Mildred Thelma Howell (mother), and sisters Bertie Sue Howell, Jennette Wilkerson and Doris Jordan.

The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
