HEREFORD - George Thomas "Tommy" Brashear, 56, died Friday, March 9, 2007, in Dimmitt.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. Brashear was born Oct. 17, 1950, in Hereford. He had a long career as a truck driver and achieved his goal of traveling to every state in the continental U.S., seeking out interesting stories and historical tidbits at every stop.
Survivors include a daughter, Trista; his parents, Ercel and Annie Brashear; a sister, Carole; and two brothers, Ercel and Steve.
