Teddy Molina, Jr., 55, of Big Spring passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center following a short illness. Vigil Services will be at 7:00 PM Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. Ariel Lagunilla officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

Teddy was born June 19, 1953, to Tereso R. and Lupe V. Molina. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and Holy Trinity Church, and he was a Cursillista.

Teddy was a Veteran of the Armed Forces, having served in the U. S. Army. His former employers were Shroyer Motor Company, Gamco, Veterans Administration Medical Center and Cunningham Oil Company.

Teddy is survived by his mother: Lupe V. Molina of Big Spring; three sons: Teddy Molina, III and his wife Belinda, Thomas Molina and his wife Brandy, all of Big Spring, and Sgt. Tobias Molina and his wife Robin of Ft. Hood; grandchildren: Jonathan, Rian, Levi, Christopher, Breezy, Bailee, Mathew, Teodora, and Izaia; six sisters: Virginia Rodriguez and her husband Pano; Mary T. Montana, Rita Franco and her husband Ramon, Janie Porras and her husband Pascual, Jr., Louise Ann Molina and Rocky Torres, Amy Baeza and her husband Sonny, all of Big Spring; two brothers: Joseph Molina and his wife Sarah and Mark Molina and his wife Debra, all of Big Spring; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The love of his life: Dianna Valdez and her children Juanita, Anita and Jesus, and his good friends Ann Cunningham and Elmus Hill.

Teddy was preceded in death by his father: Tereso R. Molina; grandparents: Jesus and Nicholasa Molina and Virginia Valverde and Jose Salazar.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Molina, Pascual Porras, Jr., Richard Gomez, Val Macias, Israel Martinez, Jr., and Sonny Baeza. Honorary pallbearers will be Sergio and Mark Anthony Molina.
Teddy was an avid fisherman and a talented musician. He loved to cook for his family. His generosity was enormous and his love for his children, grandchildren, and family was unyielding. Teddy will be greatly missed.
