Funeral Mass for Mike Robledo, Sr, age 69 of Seminole, Texas, will be celebrated Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held Monday, January 1, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church from 6 to 7 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Robledo was born in Andrews, Texas on February 18, 1954 to Francisca (Madrid) and Elisandro Robledo. He married San Juanita Villalobos in Santa Maria, California in June 1972. He was Catholic and worked as a painter. Mike Robledo lived on his own terms. He loved to fish; he also liked to hunt. Mike enjoyed scratching lottery tickets, cooking and listening to music. He enjoyed a good laugh and made everyone feel welcome. He was a great dad and a terrific grandpa, always trying to attend his grandchildren's events. He loved his family dearly; but his most special love was always for his grandchildren.
Mike Robledo, Sr. passed away at his home in Seminole, December 22, 2023.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife in 2002, and five brothers. He is survived by two sons, Augustine Robledo of Seminole, and Mike Robledo, Jr. and wife Lori of Seminole; one daughter, Jessica Franco and husband Jr. of Seminole; three brothers, Elisandro Robledo, Jr. and wife Mary of California, Jose Robledo of Midland, Texas, and Jimmy Robledo and wife Margie of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Velma Ruiz of California, Sally Robledo of California, and Adella Fierro of Kermit, Texas; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
