Seminole……Funeral Services for Peter Thiessen Hildebrandt, 65, of Seminole, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Mennonite Evangelical Church in Seminole, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seminole, Texas, officiated by Rev. Jake Fehr.

Peter was born to his parents Cornelius and Sara Thiessen as the fifth child on August 21, 1958. He spent his childhood and youth years in Campo 22- Blumenort, Cuahtemoc, Mexico.

He was baptized upon the confession of his faith in Jesus Christ on June 3, 1978, by the Bishop Franz Banman at he the old Colony Church in Neuburg. He married Catalina Wiebe on July 9, 1978. They shared joy and sorrow together in marriage for forty-five years, six months, and twenty-seven days. They are blessed with eight children.

Peter has done various jobs in his life, but his favorite job was being a mechanic. His hobby was going fishing with his children and grandchildren.

Peter has suffered from Gout for many years. He has been in the hospital on and off since November 2023, and was terminally ill for the last six days.

Peter passed away on February 6, 2024, at 8:20 P.M. He is survived by his beloved wife Catlina Wiebe. His children, Franz and Zilla Thiessen; Abe and Sara Fehr with children Cairo, Eldon, and Chelsea; Peter and Pricilla Thiessen with children Daniel, Jonathan, Melissa, Samuel, and Paula; John and Anna Reimer, with children Nuela, Ruben and Lina; Tony and Tina Enns, with children Amelia, Thyrone, and Natasha; David and Nuela Reimer with children Linda, Benny and Becky, Cornelio and Tina Thiessen with children Luke, Markus, and Asha; Ben and Susy Peters with child Keziah. Two brothers with their families, nine sisters with their families, and many friends.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

We will miss him very much, but we do not mourn as those who have no hope but are full of hope to see him again in heaven.
