Graveside services for Willard "Butch" Anderson, age 75 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Joe Stewart officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 10, 1948 to Leah (Kuhlman) and Robert Radford Anderson. Butch moved to Seminole, Texas with his family in 1953 and eventually graduated from Seminole High School in 1967; after graduation he went to work for Anderson Welding as a welder. He was later drafted into the United States Army in March of 1968 and served in the Vietnam War until March of 1970. After he returned home to Seminole and to his job at Anderson Welding, he met the love of his life, Genelyn Marie Moore; they were married in Seminole June 3, 1978. Butch continued to work as a welder for Anderson Welding for fifty-five years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and deep-sea fishing.
Butch Anderson is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Genelyn Anderson; and two brothers, Ray and Bob Anderson. He is survived by two brothers, Tommy Anderson of Seminole, and Jay Anderson and wife Kathy of Midland, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friend.

Graveside services for Genlyn Marie Anderson, age 79 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery with Brother Myrdise Durham officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson was born November 21, 1942 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to June (Brown) and Hershel Pierce. She married Willard "Butch" Anderson in Seminole on June 3, 1978. She owned and operated Gen's Antiques in Seminole for many years and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing, making quilts and going to garage sales.
Gen Anderson passed away at Seminole Memorial Health Care Center on November 6, 2022. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Jackie Moore. She is survived by her husband, Butch Anderson of Seminole; and one sister, Toby Masters of Oklahoma.
