Kenneth Z. Yates, age 76 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on June 13, 2017 in Springdale, Arkansas at Circle of Life Hospice Home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Kenneth was born to Sidney and Doris Yates on March 20, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas.
He graduated from Stanton High School in 1959.
Kenneth began a long standing career in 1960 with Otis Elevator Company in Midland, Texas. Shortly after he married his high school sweetheart LaRue Adkins on May 26, 1961.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Sidney Allen Yates, mother Doris Winona Yates, sister Robbie Jean Graves, and niece Terri Rae Rose.
Kenneth is survived by his spouse LaRue Yates of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three children, son Todd Yates of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, daughters Tracy Williams and husband, Christopher of Midlothian, Texas, and Tiffany Marshall and husband, Steven of Cypress, Texas; sister Karen White and husband, Curt of Salem, Oregon; brother-in-law Granville Graves of Stanton, Texas; six grandchildren, Taylor Yates of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Tara Yates (Jeff Patterson) of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Rachael Giacoman Williams and husband, Maurice of Dallas, Texas, Sidney Williams of Dallas, Texas, Mason Marshall of Cypress, Texas and Chance Marshall of Cypress, Texas; two great grand daughters Bria Giacoman Williams and Dahlia Giacoman Williams of Dallas, Texas and other survivors include many beloved family members and life long friends.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Friday June 16, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Gilbreath Funeral Home, 209 N. Saint Charles, Stanton, Texas.
A Memorial funeral service to honor his life will be held at 10:00am on June 17, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery, 6900 US-87, Big Spring, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, contributions can be made to Circle of Life Hospice Home 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 phone/479-750-6632 in the name of Kenneth Z. Yates.
