Ross Stuteville, 85, of Big Spring, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 in a Pasadena hospital.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

Ross was born July 6, 1929 in Howard County, Texas.

He married Frances Pewitt May 12, 1982. She preceded him in death September 22, 2001.

Ross was a meat cutter at Little Sooper in Coahoma. He also worked for Duncan Drilling and Piggly Wiggley.

Ross loved the Lord with all his heart and enjoyed two things, beating anyone in dominoes and fishing.

Ross is survived by a daughter, Paula Turner of Houston; a son, Gary Stuteville and wife, Janet of Odessa; grandchildren, Heather McCanless and husband, Nick of La Porte, Jennifer Thompson and husband, Donnie of Houston, Lisa Duncan and husband, Zach of Deer Park and Jana Stuteville of Odessa; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd Stuteville and wife, Dixie of Onalaska and James "Pete" Stuteville and wife, Pat of Big Spring; two sisters, Joyce Thomason of Kaufman and Jeary Tubb of Big Spring.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, Luther Stuteville and Mary Stuteville, four brothers, Calvin, A.J., Douglas and Dean and 5 sisters, Chloie Newton, Faye Mouser, Sally Hightower, Jean Hunter and Linda Rau.
