Graveside service for Bob Henderson, 79, of Lamesa will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Jim Medley officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.

Bob passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 in Lamesa,Texas in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born July 24,1941 to Fred and Modesta (Sanderson) Henderson in Fort Worth, Texas.

He married Charlotte Ann Simmons on May 9,1959 in Lovington, New Mexico. They were married 59 years.

Bob was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Lamesa.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Frizzell and husband Frank of Lamesa and Bubba Henderson and wife Susan of Joshua; grandchildren, Sarah Rogers of New Braunfels, Stephanie and Jake Zant of Chesapeake, Va, Chance and Andrea Frizzell of Abilene, Nolan and Deidre Frizzell of Lubbock, Whitney and Zane Stewart of Odessa and Garrett and Lacy Henderson of Midland; and eleven great-granchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlotte; and in-laws, Herb and Sarah Simmons.

The family suggests memorials to a charity of your choice.
