Graveside Services for Dorthy Marie Taylor, 80, of Arlington, Texas, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Gaines County Cemetery Seagraves in Seagraves, Texas, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home, Seagraves, Texas, officiated by Seth Pitman.
Dorthy passed away November 24, 2023, in Arlington, Texas.
Dorthy was born November 10, 1943, in Brownfield, Texas to John Marion Taylor Jr. and Bernice Elizabeth Galloway. Dorthy was a weaver, knitter, and a blood donor. She was a graduate of Seagraves High School.
Dorthy is preceded in death by her parents John and Bernice, and her sister Martha Elizabeth Taylor.
Dorthy is survived by her two brothers James Robert and wife Sue Dell of Hitchcock, Texas; John Glidwell and wife Suzanne of Bluff Dale, Texas; four sisters Marian Orrell Lotman and husband Allen of Southlake, Texas; Tommie Nell Taylor Gentry of Arlington, Texas; Barbara Ann Courtright and husband William of Houston, Texas; Ruth Estelle Daniel and husband Stephen of Plano, Texas.
