February 13, 1955 - November 10, 2023
*Obituary
In loving memory of Ricky Lee Robinson, we sadly announce his peaceful passing on November 10, 2023, after bravely battling a prolonged illness. Ricky, a resident of Jonestown, Texas, was 68 years old at the time of his demise.
Born on February 13, 1955, at the USAF Hospital in Spokane, Washington, Ricky's life was a tapestry of extraordinary experiences. He proudly served as a former Specialist/4 in the 101st Army Airborne (Assault) and was not only a gifted musician but also renowned as a master craftsman, celebrated for his eclectic custom-made guitars and woodworking. Before retiring he worked in home remodeling.
Ricky's roots were deeply connected to his family. His father, USAF Master Sergeant Harold Gilbert (Robby) Robinson and his mother, the late Constance Hubbard, were pillars of his life. He is survived by his father, his stepmother, Renee, and his siblings: Gay Lee, Robin, Marc, Soontorn, and Jasmine. Also, Ricky's three stepbrothers: Eddie, Howard, and Gene. He passed along his DIY skills and can-do attitude to his nephew, Cody. Each hold cherished memories of their time together.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents: Marc and Millie (Levinson) Robinson; and Oliver and Paulyne (Fullerton) Prather.
During this challenging period, Ricky's family is in the process of making arrangements to bid a fond fare-thee-well to their beloved son, brother, and friend.
In lieu of flowers, consider donating to Caritas of Austin, HAMM, American Cancer Society or plant a tree in remembrance.
