Jennifer Kathleen Fike of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 19, 2020 at the age of 35. She was born to Kathryn Cusack Krug and Douglas Bennett Fike in Circleville, Ohio on March 18, 1985.
A gentle soul and tender heart with a quiet demeanor, Jenny was full of laughter and could keep everyone in stitches with her funny jokes. She cherished her furry babies, loved movies, reading and walking. Family gatherings and traveling were special highlights. Also she had a healthy affection for minions. Jenny had been employed at Target for eight years. Previously she worked at Market Street.
As a young child she attended St. Gertrude Catholic School in Kingsville, Texas, graduated from McKinney High School and attended Collin College.
She is preceded in death by her other dad, James Krug; aunt, Martha Fike; uncle, John Cusack, and her paternal grandparents, Frances and Elmer Fike.
She leaves behind Andy Dobner her best friend and partner; parents; her sisters, Elizabeth Garza, Kathryn “Kat” and Bethany; her brothers, Matthew and Alexander along with her niece, Carrie and her grandparents Joe and Mary Cusack along with her aunts, Mary Fike, Nancy Fike Knop, Ellen Fike Beal and one uncle, Joe Cusack.
There will be a celebration of Jennifer’s life in McKinney. A Requiem Mass is scheduled at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nacogdoches, Texas at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 12, 2020. She will be buried at Seaside Memorial Garden in Corpus Christi, Texas.
